Pink, White or Brown Eggs Today

Happy Pink Saturday ladies...
This rebel is in a tad of a situation.
Her children don't seem to understand that
brown eggs are just the same as white eggs.
So of course, the tattered rebel daughter wants to know
WHY can't we just have PINK eggs?
In all exasperation, I declare that it is NOT just time yet
to start dying eggs for Easter!
Then out of nowhere, around the corner,
the youngest rebel boy says...
"But Mom..that's not fair! You already started!
Look! There are brown ones there!"
Oh good heavens!
Am I allowed a Calgon moment this early in the am?
All this tattered up mom wanted was a sweet quiet
breakfast setting...
Well.. at least I got pictures if not Real Time!
Hope you all have a much more relaxing
Pink Saturday!
So hop on over to Beverly's and see
what they have around this PINK breakfast morn!

  1. I just did a post the other day about the funny things kids say I put in it several things my kids said when they were little. The post was about a laughter journal. To learn to journal what funny things your kids say and remember to read them again and again and when they are older they will love it too! Sometimes not always so funny as we get exhausted but to look back and laugh.... they just grow to fast.

Hope things quite down for a lovely Pink Saturday!

  2. This was so cute! Kids gotta love them! Your photo collage is beautiful. You deserve a Calgon moment anytime! Happy Pink Saturday!

  3. Sweet. When Don and I spent a winter work camping on a minifarm they had chickens and all of them laid different colored eggs. Blues, greens, browns and speckled. It was a bit unusual for this city girl...lol...

  4. You did get some amazing photos. . . of those lovely Pink roses and naturally dyed eggs! :) I haven't dyed eggs in years....perhaps I will get to do that with The Grand Girl this year!

Love your flower photos from Hungary. I agree, they are prettier than the ones we have here.

    Happy Pink Saturday! dana

  5. That mosiac is stunning! Lovin me some pink eggs!!! Can't help you with the Calgone...I'm running low and may need it by the end of the weekend!

  6. Last year Gracie proudly held the silver platter filled with ornately decorated eggs which represented hours of work. Yes, Gracie held that tray for about 10seconds before all the eggs went crashing to the floor. Little did we know that morning that we would be having egg sald for dinner!

  7. Love starting my morning off with a chuckle, LOL

    Happy Pink Saturday!

  8. What a cute moment!!! You need to copy this post so you have hit when they grow up. Lovely mosaic. Happy Pink Sat.

  9. What a pretty post and what a cute story!!!

  10. Your Brown Egg issues reminds me of my boy the other way, although it's not about egg, but it's about his two dollar coin that I borrowed, when I pay him back with 1 piece of 2 dollar coin, he doesn't like it bec he want his TWO dollar coin back! LOL!
